Alpha Joins PACT AI to Advance Verifiable Governance for the Agentic Enterprise
As AI agents gain authority to act, Alpha brings independent governance infrastructure, research, and boardroom expertise to the coalition advancing trusted AI assurance.
LOS ANGELES, September 16, 2026 - Alpha Governance PBC, an independent AI governance intelligence company for the agentic enterprise, today announced that it has joined the Partnership for Assurance, Credibility, and Trust on AI (PACT AI), a cross-sector coalition building the science and infrastructure for trusted AI assurance.
AI agents are increasingly able to access sensitive information, execute transactions, and make commitments on an organization’s behalf. As companies delegate more responsibility to these systems, boards and executives need verifiable answers to fundamental questions: What is an agent authorized to do? Who is accountable for its actions? What evidence shows that the controls governing it are working?

Alpha will contribute both its governance infrastructure expertise and the work of the Alpha Institute for AI Governance, Alpha’s think tank. The Institute conducts independent research, contributes to policy and standards, and develops education that helps boardroom leaders navigate the opportunities, risks, and responsibilities of the agentic enterprise.
Through its events and the Alpha Council, its global leadership network of public and private company directors and executives, the Institute brings leaders together to exchange practical insights and strengthen AI oversight. Its participation will help connect emerging assurance practices with the questions boards ask, the evidence management provides, and the actions companies take.
