Use Tiempos Headline for authored public hierarchy and Helvetica Now for navigation, body copy, controls, profile and roster cards, forms, and dense product UI. Licensed Helvetica files remain internal to approved Alpha properties and are not exposed here as public download endpoints.

Application endpoints

These endpoints support compatibility, editorial reading, and genuinely technical data. They do not replace Helvetica Now as Alpha’s public interface default.

Inter is available for constrained third-party or internal environments. JetBrains Mono is reserved for code, identifiers, model names, hashes, APIs, and structured technical data.

Editorial typography

Three serif families, each with a defined job.

Use the variable files when the application supports them. Roman and italic files are available for every family.

Implementation

Use public endpoints only for their stated roles.

The CSS endpoint covers the distributable Tiempos, Inter, and JetBrains Mono files. Helvetica Now remains governed by Alpha’s commercial license and the shared internal typography tokens.

Helvetica Now and Tiempos are licensed for approved Alpha properties. They are not offered for third-party reuse, redistribution, resale, or sublicensing.

Inter and JetBrains Mono are distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. The corresponding license notice is published beside each family.
