Alpha Gray Register · Decision Record

Alpha Brand Design System v10.3 governs the institutional, product, report, presentation, agent, and public-asset estate from 4 August 2026.

Keep the serif. Remove the costume.

Alpha Gray is the default institutional operating environment. Clinical governs ratings, Eval, methodology, evidence, standards, formal reports, and API or MCP documentation. Editorial warmth is reserved for genuine publications and documents.

Logo lockups

Horizontal, vertical, and symbol artwork.

Use black artwork on light backgrounds and white artwork on dark backgrounds. The horizontal lockup is the default for navigation, mastheads, and first-contact brand placements.

Digital icons

Favicons and square application artwork.

Use the adaptive SVG favicon where supported, the ICO file as a compatibility fallback, and the square icon for application logo fields.

Typography

The voice of Alpha.

Tiempos gives Alpha’s public work its editorial authority. Each family has a distinct role across headlines, institutional moments, and evidence-led reading. Inter carries product and authentication interfaces; JetBrains Mono identifies technical data.

Usage

Keep the mark intact.

Do

  • Preserve the original aspect ratio and transparent padding.
  • Use black artwork on light surfaces and white artwork on dark surfaces.
  • Use the horizontal lockup as the default full Alpha identifier.

Do not

  • Crop, recolor, distort, outline, or add shadows to the artwork.
  • Recreate the Alpha wordmark as text.
  • Use the assets in a way that implies an unapproved endorsement or partnership.
