OpenAPI operations tagged Profiles, Discovery, or Status need no key. Start with /api/public/entities, /agents.md, or public MCP discovery at mcp.alpha.ac. Governance Transactions require approved authentication.

The governance transaction preview, api.alpha.ac operations, premium MCP, and Platform workspaces require approved access. OAuth-capable clients use WorkOS. There is no self-serve sandbox, key issuance, or agent registration.

TrustCheck and Governance Receipts (test preview)

Record a private test Registry Claim at /v1/action-intents, evaluate it at /v1/trust-checks, report the source-system result, and retrieve its Receipt. The flow does not mutate the public Registry; integrity is test-only. See /openapi.json and /docs/trustcheck-receipts-v01.md.

API

Programmatic access to approved Alpha entities, evidence, intelligence, and governed outputs through versioned contracts. Public, zero-auth operations are described by OpenAPI 3.1 at /openapi.json; approved operations are served from api.alpha.ac.

MCP

Native agent access with explicit tool schemas, permissions, provenance, errors, and versioning. Public discovery at mcp.alpha.ac requires no authentication.

WebMCP

Progressive browser tools expose page-contextual Registry, published evidence, shared Eval, Institute research, discovery, and entitled Terminal intelligence reads. Tools use the same governed handlers as Alpha API and MCP; unsupported browsers keep the normal site experience.

Agent instructions and skills

Alpha publishes when to use Alpha, when not to, and how an agent should retrieve records, alongside a signed Agent Skills discovery index.
