Madhu Muthukumar

Madhu Muthukumar is a product and technology leader with a track record of building and scaling category-defining consumer and fintech products. He currently serves as Chief Product Officer at Chime, where he oversees product management, design, user research, and product operations, focusing on delivering accessible, member-centric financial products at scale.
Previously, Madhu was Chief Product Officer at Notion, leading product management, design, research, and partnerships as the company expanded its global footprint and broadened its product suite. Before Notion, he served as Head of Product and VP of Product Management at Robinhood, where he grew and led the product organization across multiple offices and helped drive the company's evolution from a disruptive trading app into a broader retail investing platform.
Madhu also brings deep experience in social, media, and immersive technology. As Director of Product Management at Oculus, he led teams responsible for key software experiences across Quest, Rift, Go, and Gear VR, helping bring mainstream, consumer-ready VR products to market. Earlier, as Director of Product Management at Twitter, he led the teams behind Moments, Trends, event timelines, and other core discovery and engagement features, shipping products that reshaped how users experience real-time events on the platform.
He began his career in strategy and advisory roles as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, working with media, entertainment, and information clients on product strategy and digital initiatives, and as an associate at Techstars, advising seed-stage startups on growth, monetization, and go-to-market. Madhu holds a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a business and public policy certificate from The Wharton School.
