Natasha is a trusted advisor to boards of directors, asset managers, public and private companies and sovereign entities on emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, quantum computing, digital transformation, data platforms and other advanced technologies.
Natasha is the global co-leader of Akin's cross-disciplinary technology and artificial intelligence & machine learning groups and co-leads the firm's cybersecurity, privacy & data protection practice, which was ranked in Band 1 by Chambers Global. Natasha is also individually ranked nationwide by Chambers for Artificial Intelligence. Her practice sits at the forefront of technological innovation, advising global companies on complex regulatory and policy issues involving artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, biometrics, national security, autonomous mobility, and digital assets. She also has deep experience advising clients on AI governance and the legal and regulatory issues stemming from the incorporation of generative and agentic AI tools into businesses.
The Daily Journal has recognized Natasha as one of California's top cyber/artificial intelligence lawyers every year since 2018 and she was named a Woman Worth Watching by Diversity Journal in 2019. Natasha has also been recommended by The Legal 500 US in cyber law since 2017 and was named to Cybersecurity Docket's Incident Response 40. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US, International Association of Privacy Professionals) and a graduate of Harvard Law School.
