Madhu Muthukumar

Madhu Muthukumar is a product leader with more than 15 years of experience building consumer, collaboration, fintech, social, media, and virtual-reality products used by hundreds of millions of people. An owner-supplied update identifies him as Chief Product Officer at SoFi Bank; that current appointment was not independently confirmed in a SoFi publication during Alpha's 4 August 2026 review.

Alpha's current leadership biography also identifies Muthukumar as Alpha's Chief Product Officer and an Alpha Fellow. Chime appointed him as its first Chief Product Officer in July 2023, following his service as Chief Product Officer at Notion. Before Notion, he was Head of Product and Vice President of Product Management at Robinhood, where he built and led product teams across multiple offices.

Earlier, Muthukumar served as Director of Product Management at Oculus, leading software experiences across Quest, Rift, Go, and Gear VR, and at Twitter, where his teams worked on Moments, Trends, event timelines, and other discovery products. He began his career in strategy and advisory roles at McKinsey & Company and Techstars. He holds a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a business and public policy certificate from the Wharton School.
