The Alpha Institute is the firm's independent research and policy arm. We produce original research, regulatory analysis, governance frameworks, and board-level education for institutions accountable for AI.
Mandate
The Institute conducts original research on enterprise-scale AI governance, publishes the AGR methodology, and produces sector and regulatory analysis intended for board, supervisory, and academic use.
Institute output is editorially independent of Alpha's commercial business lines and is released under a public-archive policy: every paper, framework, and dataset is versioned, dated, and citable.
Programs
Long-form research on governance, oversight, capital allocation, and the agent economy. Published quarterly with full data appendices.
A monthly editorial brief for directors and senior executives - concise, structured, and citation-backed.
Continuous analysis of AI regulation across 14 jurisdictions. Includes interpretive notes for boards and audit committees.
A two-year fellowship program for researchers and senior practitioners working on enterprise AI governance.
The Institute's annual flagship convening. Closed-door dialogue between directors, allocators, supervisors, and operators.
Quarterly Chatham House sessions for directors. Regional editions in New York, London, Singapore, and Frankfurt.
